Hello!

Welcome to my business blog, located here on the FeatherStone Florals website, written entirely by me, Holly Stone! I'm the owner of FeatherStone Florals, and I am a full time floral designer. I don't have a ton of time this morning to put out words, but I can briefly explain what you'll see in this space moving forward - hopefully at least a weekly update on what's going on in my world of flowers! I do daily posts on both Facebook and on Instagram, so if you feel you'd like to see more of my day-to-day experience, that's where the magic is currently. I share a lot about my experiences as a small business owner - as a NEW small business entrepreneur - and I give accurate math on how vending at Renaissance faires and other events is working out for me. I also show physical updates to my studio space (the basement area of my house) and I post flower shopping hauls and unboxing videos. If you ever wanted to watch how to make a simple flower crown or slap-bracelet corsage, I show stuff like that too. You'll also get to know some of my cats (I have four) and see how I have put them to work in my business! (Lenny is my " Marketing Manager" and Harry is in "Quality Assurance.")

Right now, I am on a break from vending for the next few months, as flower crowns are sort of a seasonal item, but that doesn't mean I'm sitting on the couch watching a Stranger Things marathon. (Not all of the time, anyway!) I'm actually going really hard this month on four things: launching my website, creating custom headwear for several individuals ( I have a waiting list of 20 at the moment), fulfilling a 15-piece order for the fancy garb & shapewear company Damsel in this Dress, and making lots and lots of lists for my biggest show ever next July, BreyerFest - where I will be selling more than 1,000 flower crowns! These are the major bullet points this month, but other things are going on as well that you'll see if you follow my socials, like inventory control processes (ugh) and redesigning & refining some 3D-print items that I use with my floral stuff.

My website went live for the first time last night, so if you have found yourself here, I appreciate you! I really am a small business, and every dollar you spend with me makes a huge impact on this, my dream.
